Siden det blev dannet i 2007 og året efter vant ’Årets metaltalent’ prisen ved Danish Metal Awards, har blackened death metal bandet Crocell været af de mest solide navne på den danske scene med udgivelsen af fem album og senest den anmelderroste dobbelt-EP ’Baptized In Bullets’/’Funeral Bliss’ fra 2021. I 2023 indspillede de deres sjette album, denne gang hos Tue Madsen, der vil blive udgivet til sommer via Emanzipation Productions. Crocells musik vil tiltale fans af navne som Behemoth, Belphegor og Goatwhore med dens brutale kombination af black og death metal.
Efter 15+ års eksistens står Crocell nu som et af de stærkeste navne indenfor dansk metal og er mere sultne end nogensinde på at levere blasfemisk ekstremmetal af højeste kvalitet. Gennem årene har de spillet utallige koncerter og festivaler i mere end ti lande over hele Europa inkl. deres suveræne optræden på første udgave af Raise Your Horns i 2018. Med udgivelsen af det nye album samt en række koncerter tegner 2024 til at blive et af de bedste år i gruppens karriere, og vi er stolte over at byde dem velkommen tilbage til genopstandelsen af Raise Your Horns.

Ever since it was formed in 2007 and the following year won the ’Metal talent of the year’ award at the Danish Metal Awards, blackened death metal band Crocell has been one of the most solid names on the Danish scene with the release of five albums and latest the critically acclaimed double EP ’Baptized In Bullets’/’Funeral Bliss’ from 2021. In 2023, they recorded their sixth album, this time with Tue Madsen, which will be released this summer via Emanzipation Productions. Crocell’s music will appeal to fans of names such as Behemoth, Belphegor and Goatwhore with its brutal combination of black and death metal.
After 15+ years of existence, Crocell now stand as one of the strongest names in Danish metal and are hungrier than ever to deliver blasphemous extreme metal of the highest quality. Through the years, they have played countless shows and festivals in more than ten countries all over Europe incl. their spectacular performance at the first edition of Raise Your Horns in 2018. With the release of the new album along with several shows, 2024 is looking to become one of the best years in the group’s career, and we are proud to welcome them back to the resurrection of Raise Your Horns.
