Det norske symfoniske death metal band Deception vender tilbage til Raise Your Horns efter fem år med et helt nyt album i bagagen. ’Daenacteh’, der udkom for nyligt på Mighty Music, er bandets andet album siden 2018, hvor de officielt skiftede til deres nuværende navn fra Art of Deception. Siden 2012 har gruppen spillet koncerter over hele Europa med navne som Insomnium, Nile, Tribulation, Testament, Entombed og Blood Red Throne samt en række festivaler.
Daenacteh er et konceptalbum, der finder sted i en fiktiv verden med tørke og sult, der præsenteres med en endnu større lyd end gruppens tidligere udgivelser med flere eksperimenterende passager og harmonier. Norwegian symphonic death metal band Deception return to Raise Your Horns after five years with a brand-new album under their belt. ’Daenacteh’, which released recently on Mighty Music, is the band’s second album since 2018 where they officially changed to their current name from Art of Deception. Daenacteh is a concept album that takes place in a fictitious world with drought and famine that is presented with an even bigger sound than the group’s previous releases with more experimental sections and harmonies. Deception’s music is technical, brutal, and at times beautiful with dark, majestic synth soundscapes, and orchestral instruments.
