Raven Throne

Albummet indeholder syv numre med titler som ‘Uładar Ściužy (the Lord of the Forest)’, ‘Niabačnyja Nici Zimy (Winter Invisible Threads)’, ‘Miortvaja Spadčyna (the Dead Legacy)’ og ‘U dałoniach zimy (In the Palms of Winter)’.

English
From the deepest forests of Belarus emerges Raven Throne, a ferocious beast devouring all that is light and warm leaving eternal winter and darkness in its wake. The band had Danish tour dates planned in both 2020 and 2021 along with among others Swedes Zornheym who have previously played at Raise Your Horns, but unfortunately the shows had to be cancelled. That’s why we are thrilled to finally be able to present the band in 2022. Raven Throne label themselves as ‘atmospheric black metal’ which harkens back to the Norwegian scene of the early 90s, and like the bands of that era the lyrics are presented in the native tongue.

Raven Throne mix the classic blast beats and high-pitched shrieks with sorrowful acoustic guitar sections, rock grooves, electronic elements, and atmosphere of Slavic traditions. Since forming in 2004, they have released seven albums of which ‘Viartannie’ from 2020 is the latest. The album features seven tracks with titles such as ‘Uładar Ściužy (the Lord of the Forest)’, ‘Niabačnyja Nici Zimy (Winter Invisible Threads)’, ‘Miortvaja Spadčyna (the Dead Legacy)’ and ‘U dałoniach zimy (In the Palms of Winter)’. This is blistering cold black metal perfect for the winter season that is sure to come early once Raven Throne take the stage at Raise Your Horns 2022.
