Décembre Noir

***ENGLISH TO FOLLOW***

Noir vil spille på Raise Your Horns i 2021.
Bandets seneste album ’The Renaissance of Hope’ udkom i november på Lifeforce Records, og

The Renaissance of Hope er fjerde album fra Décembre Noir siden debuten ’A Discouraged
Believer’ i 2014.

—ENGLISH—

German doom/death metal band Décembre Noir was one of the bands that unfortunately had to
cancel their performance at the festival this year. Thus, we are thrilled to reveal that Décembre
Noir will play Raise Your Horns in 2021.
The band’s latest album ‘The Renaissance of Hope’ was released in November on Lifeforce Records
with the brand-new video for ‘A Swan Lake Full of Tears’ out now. The sombre and captivating
tone of the video is a perfect fit for this dark and cold season, and a band named Décembre Noir
could not be more apropos as the final announcement of the year.
The Renaissance of Hope is the fourth album from Décembre Noir since their debut ’A
Discouraged Believer’ in 2014. The album consists of six songs with none lasting less than six
minutes. This is the group’s typical approach to song writing as their songs often clock in at eight
or nine minutes. The length of the songs allows for variation with a single track switching between
crushingly heavy doom, blastbeat death and melodic, melancholic parts without ever becoming
confusing or losing the common thread.
This talented German quintet plays music that will appeal to fans of bands such as My Dying Bride,
Draconian, In Mourning and Be’lakor and we look forward to creating the proper Autumn
atmosphere together with Décembre Noir at Raise Your Horns 2021.
